A booking fee of £100.00 is charged on signing our wedding booking contract.
PAYMENT. Payment of the balance of the agreed fee must be made at least three weeks before the wedding unless agreed in advance that payment will be made on the wedding day.
COPYRIGHT. (A) By signing of this-contract the client assigns to the Videographer the copyright of all filmed material specified in the schedule. (B) The Videographer may use extracts from this for commercial purpose. If you do not wish us to use extracts from your wedding please tick here [ ]
ARTISTIC LICENCE. The Videographer shall be granted artistic license by the client in relation to the material, locations used and final editing. The Videographer's judgement regarding locations and final editing shall be deemed correct unless previously discussed with the client and agreed in writing by the client PRIOR to the event. Any errors on our part will be rectified. Any additional changes that you want done are charged at the rate of £125.00 per hour of editing time.
SOLE RIGHTS. Ashmore Video Productions shall be the sole professional videographer / photographer (dependant on package booked) at the venues specified. No objection is raised to family members using there video cameras or taking photographs at the event, providing due priority is given to the professional Videographer / Photographer to ensure satisfactory discharge of the contract.
LIMIT OF OUR LIABILITY. We will not be liable for any delays caused by circumstances, which are beyond our reasonable control. We will not be liable for any Radio Signal losses. Battery failures, equipment failure and or material defects, which are beyond our control. Any refunds for the EVENT will be limited to no more than the original sums involved. In the unlikely event of a total video failure or cancellation of this contract by either party or in any other circumstance the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the contract. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.
We will make every reasonable effort to secure a replacement cameraman if for any reason the cameraman is unable to carry out the engagement. In those circumstances however, our liability to you is limited to making a refund of the sums that you have paid us in respect of the booking. We will be entitled to deduct any out of pocket expenses that we have reasonably incurred or paid to a third party.
When you enter into this booking you accept that we cannot accept any liability whether it is a financial or any other kind of loss, which arises either as a direct result or as an indirect result or as a consequence of any failure by us of our obligations to you in this booking except for our obligation to return all or part of any sums that you have paid to us in accordance with these conditions
CANCELLATION OF CONTRACT. The client may cancel the contract at any time prior to the event by giving WRITTEN (please use registered post) notice to the Videographer. The booking fee is NOT refundable. This contract is not deemed cancelled until you receive confirmation in writing from us.

Terms of cancellation. 50% of full payment if cancelled within two months of the wedding: Full payment if cancelled within one month of the wedding.

Unless agreed in advance of the wedding, master videotapes are not stored after the wedding, Master edited DVD disks are stored for at least 2 years.
Original raw / unedited tapes / ownership of the video copyright can be purchased, price on request. This has to be arranged before the wedding day.
Title form, pictures and music to be added must be received by us at least 5 working days before the day of filming, if not we cannot guarantee inclusion in final production. PICTURES, TITLES AND MUSIC cannot be changed after the final production has been edited. Any items sent must be labelled with the reference number on the booking form, with your name and return address. Whilst every care is taken, customer's material is accepted on the basis that their value does not exceed the retail cost of the material itself. Liability for loss or damage is therefore limited to the replacement of such material. Any alterations to the day's event must be put in writing and sent to ASHMORE VIDEO PRODUCTIONS to arrive not later than 48 hours before the day of the Event.
Coverage that starts from the brides house / hotel, is on the understanding that we leave, at least 1 hour prior to the wedding ceremony, this time is also dependent on the distance from the brides house and the church/registry office. We cannot be held responsible if the bride is not ready on time and no video footage or photographs have been taken.
Camera Positions / Authority / Permissions to Video.
While every effort will be made to get the best position for the camera to video the event. Due to restrictions imposed upon us on the day, this may not always be possible. You must obtain permission to film at the appointed location (church, park, etc.) from the relevant authorities, and you are responsible for any fees that may be levied by such authorities. ASHMORE VIDEO PRODUCTIONS will not be responsible for any refusal by such authorities to allow filming to be carried out.
The word Videographer used in this contract is applicable to both Video and Photographic work that is undertaken by us.
All photographs are taken using the cameras RAW format. All photographs supplied are checked and basic cropping and adjustments made. When we are making up the album further adjustments (colour correction / cropping ETC.) will be made as required. Photographs will be supplied on DVD in the JPEG format.
It's your responsibility when using a photo lab of your choice to make any adjustment you require.
When we are making up the wedding album you have 30 (thirty) days from receipt of the photo CD's / DVD to make your selection, after this time we will at our discretion make up the album with our choice of prints. (Unless notified in writing, e-mail or telephone within the thirty days that you need more time)
It is the responsibility of the client to inform all guests invited to the wedding, that a professional videographer / photographer (dependant on package booked) would be filming on the day. If possible, this can be added to the invitations you might send out.
Parking and congestion charges are not included in the package prices. (Unless Central London fee paid)
Complaints: Any complaints should be raised by the client with ASHMORE VIDEO PRODUCTIONS, in writing, within 7 days of first becoming aware of the matter to be complained off and in any event within 10 days on receipt of the goods.
These Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
